There arm warmers are excellent vfm. I've got much more expensive ones that never get used, I always wear the Prendas ones.

As said previously, arm warmers are excellent. I have a pair and carry them all the time.
For the type of product they are ther is nothing better, just more expensive.
Cobbles are all very well but I'd rather be riding towards the South of France

Have some armwarmers - another recommendation, buy them.

I also have some Meraklon legwarmers from BiEmme which look remarkably similar...

Their returns/refund policy doesn't look best ever.

They charge you for the initial postage cost of sending the item out to you-regardless of whether it was initially free of charge(to you).
Their prerogative of course, but other online retailers don't do this. They get my custom instead.

I would say their returns policy is at least as good as CRCs who according to their website will only refund the postage when they've sent you the wrong thing.

Sorry, but you're missing the point.

With Prendas you pay for TWO lots of postage if you return the item- the return postage AND the cost of them sending it to you in the first place.

With CRC or Ribble or others you only pay the postage cost of RETURNING the item.

Not the same thing at all.

Good thing about Prendas I find is that their kit is usually the cheapest and they give you free goodies sometimes (I have had a free DVD from them and postcards).

They also have the best sizing guides, alongside wiggle.

But with Ribble if you don't spend £50 you pay £2.95 for postage anyway, so you're also paying 2 lots of postage and not every other online retailer does free postage in the first place, so again I contend that Prendas's policy is no worse than many others.

Personally I'll stick with Prendas as their stuff is excellent and their service is first rate

Only half right,I'm afraid and again, you missed the whole point I was trying to make.

READ the PRENDAS terms and conditions- free postage to you in the first instance is irrelevant to all of this.

Great supplier to do business with!

If I order before 5pm, I always get delivery the next day, my post arriving around noon. Great service! :D

Actually I wouldn't rule out the thought of buying from them! I was just making a point about their swingeing returns policy.

Not dead sure tho' about the sizing of their Santini stuff.

Do the size charts on their website represent the truth?

Sturmey - I think you'll find that it's very rare to have to return things to Prendas because of sizing issues, mainly because Mick and Andy will invest time up front in ensuring you get the right size item when you order. If you're unsure on sizing give them a call or email them and they'll happily explain the sizing of a particular brand, get your measurements and send out the item that will fit.

I don't think I've ever had to return something due to it being the wrong size and I've been ordering stuff from them for well over ten years.

A big +1 on that. I've even been called by them to let me know about the unusual sizing of a jersey that I'd ordered. After a quick chat they recommended the size up. It fitted perfectly. Great guys, great service.

They are very good at returns, if something is the wrong size or you are unhappy in any way they will replace. It's this kind of customer service that people want.
