Lycra has its function and can be very useful when is the saddle for hours. You cant say its bad because its not cool. Its not what you wear its how you wear it and when! wearing a full Lycra get up when your out for an hour on the local trails, well if it floats your boat then do it, its your ride no one else's. How about we talk about Freeriders in baggy stuff looking like they in clown suits, saying things like stoked and dude all the time... Na, cos its their choice and they like that! Lets all just ride our bikes like a big happy MTB family eh
The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine.

Each to their own i say. I wear baggies personally but if you want to look like "the only gay in the village" then that's your prerogative

my personal opinion is they look like leggins or something girls would wear. Next you'll be seeing men riding around in skirts....

Padded lycra shorts under baggies. That's as far as I go.

The amount of people I see on mountain bikes with the full lycra gear that to me seems more suited for road racing!

I mean, is aerodynamics really that important mountain biking?

Just looks "ghay" to me off road. But then never really got road racing either. Seems all about speed, time and staring at the handlebars for hours as you go round and round the same circuit. What attracts me to off road is the sense of adventure, some risk, and finding new tracks, plus the scenery.

It's the same with skiing/boarding. Whilst jumps are okay, I never get the point of going thousands of miles to a ski resort just to go up and down a short jump section all day, every day (and plenty of people do the same on the jump sections of mtb areas). I like to get out there and explore.

All these criticisms of lycra are just caused by people's petty jealousy because they haven't got a Size Zero Supermodel figure, like what I have,

If you've got it, flaunt it.
How about this for an example of being well hung.

Even with my weight leaning on it, the gate hasn't moved an inch. That's certainly a well hung gate.

Im sure I saw you in the new Bruno film

Even for a joke, I can't imagine how you felt able to post that photo
Lycra looks ok at best on a bike until you stop....and get off (see exhibit A ^ )... why scare children & animals just because it feels comfortable? It's only a bike ride.
