Coaches in London?

41yrs old, still a bit overweight, been cycling a bit a couple of years but still pretty much a beginner. Would eventually like to get into racing. I live in North Finchley. Can anyone recommend a coach in the London area? I think the Internet reduces the need for the coach to be in the same time zone for more advanced cyclists, but I'd prefer someone I can actually meet on occasion, to go over techniques, and someone that knows the local races and courses, etc.
