Hi all,

I really need to turn the screw on my diet and start eating 'better'.

I am not looking to become uber thin etc, just want to eat more of the right stuff at the right time and through the day. Anyone know of any good books and guides on what one should think about having in the diet as a cyclist?

Example, I am off on a 75 mile ride on Tuesday and want to make sure I have fuelled the body sufficiently as I feel that I am not doing that at the moment. My diet is not bad, but as ever could be better.

Thanks in advance,

Pete.

Try Anita Bean's "The Complete Guide to Sports Nutrition". Sounds like it's exactly what you need.

Thanks Ruth, have looked at your site and dependent on cash flow, might well be dropping you a line in the coming months.

The Paleo Diet for Athletes written by Loren Cordain & Joe Friel is in my opinion a very good book. There are parts that are a bit too detailed around the science side of things but the basic idea is good.
