SPD's for me, got some Scott shoes off the bay for dirt cheap 25quid. I commute off-road and do trail riding weekends, nothing technical or exciting but it does me.

    Similar for me

    Diadora chilli zero
    Specalized bg comp

I have some old airwalk and shimano spd's kicking about as well.

Xtr pedals for me, been and done with eggbeaters.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

DMR V12's with the most cheap rubbish dirty Nike trainers I can find under the stairs, under these are a pair of Merino Seal Skin socks.

I bought some FiveTens Hi Impact 2's as I was tired of slipping on my V8s. Great toe protection too.

They look a bit like correction shoes when I got them out of the box but look much better now they're muddy with a few scuffs 8)

DMR V8s and fiveten impact2 hi boots, on lumpy and bumpy trails with sharp fast turns. I sdon't think as an old BMXer and motorcyclist who fell off too many times that I would want to be mechanicaly attached to the my bike

DMR V8 and ES skate shoes. The ES's are good becouse they are super comfy, but also secure, they have a high ankle(good becouse i have espesialy weak ankles)and are made of fairly tough and waterproof leather. The grip is good too, although i would like 5.10's in the long run, but the ES's were only £20!

I have some well old but great Cannondale shoes that go with my equally old Time ATAC's. They just keep gong and going. I keep looking for holes and signs of wear but alas the shoes are nigh on indestructable.
