Hey hey now we have real mans rain out in the sticks none of this city drizzle larky - plus lightning, hills and lone rider on a steel bike is a bad combo.

Pah. I'm further out into yokel land territory than you are and I kept riding. Mind you my route still has some tree cover.

I had a loverly ride in this morning in the rain
It was quite heavy but not cold
It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold
I could wear shorts, which is always best in the rain as legs are waterproof
It's cleared up now, so a sunny ride back in a few minutes

What happened to the expected biblical rainfall in London? Did it all evaporate before hitting the ground?

I felt like poop yesterday so I thought I'd have a day on the train for old times sake. Then it started raining and I felt lucky, then it kept raining and the train terminated at walsall.

Then I had to wait in the rain like a hobo until the wife picked me up :(

back on the bike monday - stupid trains in my experience they are 100% unreliable*

Missed the rain this am but very humid. Wearing the least ever on the bike (cheap and worn shorts plus Aldi top), still too hot! OK when moving but so uncomfortable when halted. It's going to be a sticky night! (with any luck, it is Friday)
