My kids nag me constantly to take them downhilling. The trouble I have is they are leaving me behind when we go out biking.
They are faster, fitter, more skilled than me
Should I run there tyre pressure's lower so i can keep up. (only Joking)
They are dh mad does anyone else have kids that are better than you?
And look what my garden has become!!! (see link)

our garden is about 3/4 of an acre and on a hillside, the garden was tiny so 20 years ago when land around here was cheap i asked the farmer to sell me a patch and he did

Brilliant video! Loving the garden especially the berm around the back of the shed, nice feature!!!

Gotta give those boys all the encouragement you can, thats the future of the sport right there.

    Great garden.

stop worrying about your kids being better than you that is just the natural order of things.

Now get your arse down to the timber merchants and build them boys some northshore, help them progress there riding.

Later this summer I am getting a mini digger in to" develop" the tracks a bit more.
The problem is they soon get bored of any changes we make saying its too easy now.
(There is more you can't see on the video)
So it is a constantly changing track, the little one wants a start ramp like fort william for goodness sake!!!
So to get the track just right we need :- northshore, start ramp wall of death.......

I had to wait till I was 36 for my first full suss!
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

The two eldest boys have put up there savings towards there bikes I paid for the bulk and i pay for all repairs uplifts etc this has taught them to respect and look after there bikes they wash/dry and lube them after they get ridden.
Me and my wife both think its better to spend money on bike's than pc,s wii play stations etc

The upgrade has begun the boys have got a jump which I made from from two old roof trusses and a sheet of 18 mm ply it's about 2'6" high and 3 meters long.
and guess what I am scared to hit it it looks massive!!
But the boys love it and clear it no probs
