I am a bonehead

I tore my calf muscle the night before the Norwich 100 playing volleyball. What a boneheaded thing to do! Couldn't even walk home. Starting to hobble quite well now and the docs want me to start physio. Being an addicted roadie, what exercises can you recommend for a safe comeback to the saddle. For those who want to know I had a 2nd degree torn medial gastrocnemius.
We need a bigger boat.

Giant OCR 4
Trek Madone 5.2

This could lead into interesting discussion on whether to 'train' thru an injury.....
anyways I bet the physio didnt recommend standing calf raises??
Not that I am either.. they'll probably hurt you!

I would wait until you have spoken to your physio. None of us on here will be able to provide the quality of response that you will get from a decent physio.
