Maybe Lance sells more Treks than Greg sells Lemonds?
The Lemond brand is as good as dead, slaughtered by Trek who were apparently acting under the directions of Armstrong.

I live in the states, and get around a bit, but would have to say that Lemond bikes are
few and far between. You just don't see that many of them. Trek on the other hand, well,
they seem to be everywhere. They are the dominant bike, it would seem, here in the U.S.
I see all kinds but Trek just seems to appear more often. That said, maybe the Lemond brand is as good as dead, like you say. If it was such a viable brand I would think that "someone" would pick up on it. Maybe someone will. Who knows? Some years back Eddy M's bikes were very popular but that's another name I don't see much of over here any more. Bike catalogs carried lots of them. No more. What I have seen, aside from bunches of Treks, is the upswing in the "boutique" brands. Seven, Moots, that kind of stuff. Seems that lots of people want something just a little bit special.
