Oh Oh, there's one about Greg:

Do you set down your name in the scroll of youth, that are written down old with all the characters of age? Have you not a moist eye, a dry hand, a yellow cheek, a white beard, a decreasing leg, an increasing belly? Is not your voice broken, your wind short, your chin double, your wit single, and every part about you blasted with antiquity? And will you yet call yourself young?

    Is it your back?

Sorry, sorry that was above the belt.

Actually it is mostly residing in my left buttock.

    The pain, that is.....

Did you go to cwmcarn this weekend? I popped up yesterday and had just started bashing down the freeride section at the top and was deciding which of the 3 wooden dropoffs to hit........and found myself sat where they used to be, but they were no longer there...what happened...who stole them!

I didn't gert....I had to sleep on a floor on Saturday night and, in my old age, I was aching on Sunday! Went up to Leigh Woods instead and did a couple of hours with dogly......will ask around about the dropoffs though!

...just found out.....apparently (so local rumour has it) they were taken down as too many people were stacking it off the large one, and because its not that near to the road they had to keep getting the air ambulance out, so they had to take them down.

Also (again rumour control, so possibly not true) a lot of the trails are being "risk assessed" because a few people have tried to sue after hurting themselves! Its mountain biking, it says its a technical black route, and occasionally you fall off thats just life!!!! how crazy is that, some peole are strange I hope they dont have to change it all just because of a few crazy peoples!

Rumour also has it that the owner of PORC (Penhurst Off Road Club) in Kent is selling up as he is fed up with people vandalising the runs.

Lot of happy memories from racing there in the 90's

Somehow lost interest when I crashed & broke my wrist though.
