training near bedford

Hi all - I work part time in Sharnbrook (about 10 miles north of bedford) - does anyone know of any nearby chain gangs / training rides during the week in that area

    Our club do a Tuesday evening chaingang starting from Barton if you can make it down that way. Best do a club run or 2 first though as a way of introduction.

    Otherwise, contact the Beds Road Club - not sure what midweek rides they do, but their weekend rides start in Bedford town centre I believe.

    Used to be a beds road cc member, albeit a long time ago. At that time there were definitely midweek chaingangs/interval sessions. I'm sure these still go on. During the summer there were sporting course TTs as well.

    haha...I used to be a Bedford boy until about 13 years ago, although I wasn't into cycling at the time I knew a few. Is the Velo club still going?
