AMS Pro R1 Mag :D Superb bike, perfect for what I ride.

Muddylegs, I work in a Cube dealership, have sold plenty of them (5th largest Cube dealer in the UK based on sales), no reports of any wheel problems

Ams 100 Comp here. Absolutely adore it. I wasnt keen on the brakes at first so have now got some Avid elixers on it and the bike feels perfect now!
  • Have an 09 acid which i love and am very happy with. Currently looking at a fritzz 10. Hope to have one before end of the summer.

Had mine 2 years it's still great.
The grips have almost fallen apart in under 2 months which is a bit disappointing

I assume you mean the foam race grips? I had two pairs they were shocking luckily CRC refunded me :)

Bought a Cube Attention as a budget bike for my first foray into mountain biking. Love it, need to upgrade the forks though I think, especially as I wanna step my riding up...

Today is the last day of the window for my ride to work scheme - so need to make a decision by 3.30pm (as am nipping out to catch some football tournament)

Talk me into the Cube Ltd Team over the Boardman Pro HT please

also - what's the difference between the Team RX and the Team HS33?

When I posted in this thread originally I'd just bought an 08 Stereo, shortly afterwards I tore my achilles and was unable to ride for a good while, I'm getting out on it more now and I have to say it's bloody brilliant. Everything just works on it, feels like a hardtail on the climbs and really motors on the downs and it looks totally cool in the Milky Green I got it in only had to change the standard grips, tyres and brake pads. I've seen plenty of Cube hardtails and my mate has an AMS but I've yet to see a Stereo out there so I feel pretty exclusive too :)
  • I've got a Cube Fritzz and I look awesome on it, fact!

    HOLLA. AMS comp here.

Wouldn't know about any spoke probs as i put my own wheelset on. The bar was narrow, note the was! A charge Spoon was put on about 4 months ago too.

Had it for nigh on a year and I love it, fits perfectly.

I had tried 1 for size way before I bought, and was window shopping last august. I was looking in a shop and the cute sales lass came over. I mentioned I like it but.... she came back and we talked about it some more. After a bit of haggling I signed on the dotted line.

    Here she is (Cassandra)

    Just before her maiden voyage.

Don't you think the buzz about them has died off? Which is all good in my book.

Here's my beast when I first bought it, since changed handlebars to Easton EA70's, whacked on a Cube chainstay protector and just trying a SDG Belair saddle now.

So why is it in the MTB section. They also make a great range of road bikes as well.
