errr holla!
Cube owner here, LTD Race to be precise. There is definitely growing popularity now with Cubes, it seems to have only taken a few good magazine reviews and publicity and there are so many more people inquiring about the bikes than there was at the beginning of the year when I picked mine up.
I can't see what there is not to like - great spec, looks and price (maybe not as much since the price hike but hey!)0 -

Got an AMS PRO
Am loving it, goes uphill easily and downhill quickly.
Seems well put together with top kit on it.
Still fiddling with the suspension but its getting better with each ride.
Really impressed, except for the saddle, that was murder

Hi, i just got directed to this post, Im looking to buy a Cube Ltd Team at the end of July since drooling over it every day since ive seen it last year.
Now im just wondering if they are still worth the price increase? Also if anyone has had any problems with them and if so what the problem was?
Thanks for any help

I've got a Cube Reaction K18 2009.
Like it but haven't got to know it properly yet.
The grips have almost fallen apart in under 2 months which is a bit disappointing and be wary of the rims - they ain't the strongest and landing a bunny hop badly on a pavement kerb is not a good thing for them and before you say, you shouldn't be bunny hopping onto pavement kerbs, you're right!0 -

Nah, if it's quiet and there's no peds, and you're not on a road that has traffic on, then I don't see the problem!
Kerbs are a great place to learn to bunny hop! It's what I'm trying to master at the moment! Although, my ride is an Intense 6.6, weighing in at around 36lbs. HEAVY!!! Lol. Probably not the best bike to learn on!!Boo-yah mofo

People with new Cube bikes, have you experinced any problems with your spokes?
Just taken my bike into LBS as my rear wheel has got a bit of a wobble nothing series but i want it straight. My spokes were not to bad a little bit loose so i got them to tighten them all up including the rotas. The chap in the store said that they had a new Cube back in that had a major problem just wanted to know if you had noticed any thing. It may be worth checking them.0 -
Thought I'd revive this thread from the dark ages and see if there's any new members of the club.
Have had an AMS Pro 100 R1 Mag 2010 for about 5 months now and loving it, just changed the bars to slightly narrower EA70 and am now trying a new seat - SDG Bel Air RL Ti for a bit more comfort over the Fizik.
Done an enduro, about 4 races and apart from a snapped chain had no probs.
Got mine direct from Germany and saved £350 inc shipping over Chainreaction's price.
Hardest bit was finding one to test ride (which I couldnt in the end, bought it without riding it!) and back up support for parts is pretty bad although Nirvana cycles have some parts.0
