The first few weeks of BR forum feet finding is a troubling time we've suggested many times that some form of counseling should be available.
Lots of head scratching wondering if this really is a cycling forum and why FFS do I spend so much of my time here...
Just wait until you start meeting these people in the 'flesh' now THAT'S scary :shock:Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game0 -
Amazing what happens when you spend a couple of days away. I thought the last few days SCR thread was good, but no, this one definitely...

Welcome ET
As you can see, we're not very good at staying on topic.
Hope you enjoy the forum.
Are you a noobs or a leg man?"Impressive break"

As a n00b/noob/newbie, I can say I feel welcomed into the collective "moob" [sic].
Just the right mix of man-on-man bondage, grammar pedantry, randomness and some bike chat garnish.
I look forward to bolstering my post count with tails of scalping, SPD related falls and hundreds of pounds spent on new kit I really didn't need.
Chapeau to all concerned (as I believe is exclaimation around these parts).
NB: All spelling and grammatical errors are entirely intentional and are to be used to guage grammar pedantry levels0 -

Thanks for the welcome.
I was sad to see the TDM go (motorsickle) and I've only just finshed cleaning up all the gear and stashing it away...brought a tear to my eye.
However I'm out to try pastures new, and hence the new velocopede...years ago when when 531 tubing was the thing and a 10 speed bike was cutting edge technology, and tungstun bulbs and pre alkaline batteries, I used to commute 15 miles a day 365 days a year all weathers ...D9d that for 10 years. It got so much of a chore. Now I can just go out when I fancy it becomes something of pleasure.
Still got get use to everything overtaking me though - Jeez cycling is dangerous in comparison to a motorbike!
Anyway I hope I can contribute to the board!_____________________________
