does anybody else do two things when they fall
1) stifle a cry/scream?
2) check for bruises and cuts afterwards and hope that they look bigger/cooler/sorer than they were?

i like nothing more than parading my most recent badge of honour to anyone who is vaguely interested.Ned Flanders: “You were bicycling two abreast?”

Me too. Though I rarely have to stifle a cry/scream. I usually swear loudly, though
Yes, I like big scratches/bruises

No, but we're having an old double decker bus as wedding transport for everyone and with it comes printed souvenir tickets.

love showing off my war wounds the bigger the better feels like i've achieved something. but don't usually cry/scream! I also have botty mouth! :oops:Cheeky, Cheeky0 -
One thing I didn't get yesterday - visible war wounds!
Did get nettle stings from an overgrown bit of the SDW and my backside is a little sore this morning.
Still, maybe getting serious damage isn't the best thing for the first full-length time out!Ned Flanders: “You were bicycling two abreast?”

I invariably don't stifle cry/screams, and I'm never in a position to hope bruises look bigger than they were because I bruise like a peach and even so much as falling sideways into a 'mattress' of clover, would turn my dainty little skin purple
In fact it's a a really good day when I can bare my arms and legs and NOT have a bruise or two on there somewhere.
Glad you enjoyed your ride out miss notax0 -

Hey all, I know this isn't really my place to comment being a 16 yr old boy, but one thing I don't get is this, why do women never seem to wear as much armour, ie, skin/knee guards as guys do, yet when we fall off our bikes we still manage to hurt ourself?
And to reply to whoever posted the question about falling off and grunting, I don't realy scream or cry. Except for when there's a crowd of people, makes the fall look more dramatic than it actually is.
Seeing as this thread has kind of gone off topic abit, why not watch the Earthed DVD's for motivation?0 -
