Ify weather

On days like today when it's drizzling constantly and on the cool side with the wind blowing persistantly. If you're not "time poor" would you think :-
A) I'll have a intense session on the turbo.
Stuff it I'll go out anyway and get sh*tt*d up.
C) There's always tommorrow.
D) Wait to see if the weather will cheer up as forcast.

C, but now I have a turbo, A.0

wait for a break in the rain that looks like it might last and then put the hammer down for an hour or more outside. if it doesn't break then hit the turbo.--
Obsessed is just a word elephants use to describe the dedicated. http://markliversedge.blogspot.com0 -
If I'd planned to be training, I'd go out anyway. Honest....
Fortunately I'm racing tomorrow so it's a rest day. Currently, it's looking like I'll get wet enough tomorrow to make up for it.0 -
I went for option "D" and had a good 50miler, well chuffed.Tail end Charlie

I played safe and went out on the winter steed complete with muddies.Tail end Charlie

Only the one bike for me, and no mudguards, so it was a short turbo day, same tomorrow I think.0

Not been feeling great so I've had the weekend off the bike - otherwise I'd have probably looked at the forecast and tried to fit in a ride when it was raining the least.
it's a hard life if you don't weaken.0 -
Looking at the forecast up to Thursday for my area it's rain, rain and more bloomin' RAIN. :evil:Tail end Charlie

Option D, waited until today and it did stop raining but with a NE wind blowing at 20mph and gusting up to 30mph. Did a 30mile loop.
Likewise, forecast for next 5 days is rain. So, this heatwave summer? Was last weekend it then?Where the neon madmen climb0 -
Must have been Pedylan. Glad I made the most of it.Tail end Charlie

Option B every time. Don't be a whimp! Just clean your bike and clothing when you get in!0
-
I'll go for option E,
recline on the couch and drink Hobgoblin, watch the GP and the 20/20 Cricket
yeah yeah I know i'll regret it - but just at the moment it's heaven0 -
Is option E very much like option C (there's always tommorrow) Can't fault you though.Tail end Charlie

Am I alone in actually enjoying being out in the rain? Not a downpour, they're horrible, but a light rain is actually quite refreshing.
No such thing as bad weather, just the wrong gear!0 -
Option B for me.
I don't have a car and train commute would take twice as long.
Infact, last weekend I missed the training session because the weather was 'nice' and decided it was too good and spent it with my son in the garden.
Had the weather been poor I would have been out cycling.0 -
I am doing events and recovering from them this time of year
So missing the odd day riding is probably good
In spring I would go out regardless of the weather, I hate turboing0
