After talking to many halfords stores to see what is happening with the team carbon bikes they have said that there is a shipment arriving in 3-5 weeks time. Available for preorder.

how reliable this is i dont know but seemed like they knew it was on a boat somewhere.

There are 3 on ebay one is a pro (55cm) one which is advertised here in this thread and also another medium.

Buying used carbon maybe a cost effective risk when there is a rather large saving to be had.

thought i'd let you all know what I managed to find out. ;)

I got one in Medium! This appeared on Ebay on Tuesday and was there for 5 hours before I grabbed it:

I was worried that it wasn't legit but it turned out to be everything he said :) Definitely not ridden so it's basically brand spanking new, with 10 months of the warranty left. He even delivered it for a tenner despite living about 90 miles away.

I nipped up the road on it and it flies  - really light. I can't wait to take it out later :D but I already know I'll be wincing at every stone that pings off the carbon frame - a scary noise for a carbon-newbie!
  • I had one but I am giving it up!

I've decided to go for the Cayo instead. There is a team carbon medium reserved for me which I am going to relinquish later today in Salisbury if anyone wants to call them and grab it tomorrow?

    Reason.....
    I am impatient
Salisbury is too far to drive
I don't think a fatty like myself will notice the additional 2 pounds of the cayo
I was swayed by the C+ rating, but on rereading the review I'm not sure the Team is so much better.
