When is the next C to C?
    You mean C to C to C, right?! :wink::lol:

I'm half-tempted to do another CCC in a couple of weeks time on Sat 6th of June, but we've got the Smithfield Nocturne that day so it might not be wise :?

Failing that, for me it'll probably be early July now as I have too much on (and the Dave Lloyd Mega Challenge to prep for & recover from) in the meantime!

251.7km for me. My legs are cooked today. That is definitely the last CCC before the Fray Bentos.
Enjoyed the recovery pints of San Mig 8)

    Well done all!

    Not All!

I was in some sort of mental funk that I couldn't dig myself out of so caught the train of shame home from Worthing and only rode around 140Ks.

Highlight for me was the climb just before Brighton.

Ah Wilf, no shame in 140kms! I havent done a decent long ride for a couple of months. The last one being the Surrey ride with Myk-ee where we tried to find every hill in the North Downs. I spoke to the missus about doing this (C-C-C) as a solo effort, meeting her on the South Coast for food and then riding back. Hopefully I can manage this sometime this month, but still want to do an RP 3 lapper and a few BH attempts

It was a good ride down, although I struggled a bit on the climbs. Ditchling Beacon was nasty, and I was glad to get to the top without stopping :-)

Thanks to Rich, Wilf and Bernard for pacing me back to the main group on several occasions :-)

Went out again on Sunday in Welwyn with a mate and rode another 45 miles, so my total for the weekend was 135 miles.

Hoping to get out with you guys again in a fortnight...

Well done to all. I'm very jealous. That's a serious average, particuarly bearing in mind >2000m of climbing.
I only had time for some early laps of RP and saw you congregating....

Wishing some of you all the best with the bonebreaker. We've finally booked something for around that time - a week in Scotland with a hire car, the bike and some walkie-talkies!

So who's doing the ridiculously masochistic Dave Lloyd full course?

Thanks Nick - it was quite pacy at times, even chugging along at 30kph coming back through Oxshott!

It's myself, Drill Sgt Myk-ee & Mal (a mate of Phips') doing the full monty Dave Lloyd - I'm dreading it but it'll be am experience!

Sounds like you boys had a good day out, sad i missed it. Unfortunately no carbon goodness was purchased in Italy, so will have to stick to alu...

Rich - the Dave Lloyd is only 4 weeks away! I had a moment of realisation - its not fear that will get you out training, its pride!! Really looking forward to the DL :D
It's the vibe of the thing.
