Now its coming round to summer and the target events unfold i was wondering, what is the best course of action for tapering. I know it depends on what events you are doing but i am tapering for both rr and sportives, any advice?

Should i reduce all three intensity, duration and frequency, or not?

    You can't taper for all your events this, you'll lose way too much fitness.

    You need to pick 1 or 2 events you actually care particularly about and just do it for those, it's generally believed that duration is the most important one to cut back on, not frequency and not intensity (ie if you do 10reps of something, do 5 instead, if you do a 1 hour tempo ride, do a 30 minute tempo ride)

    I am not cutting back for all, just 1 sportive and a couple of RR, but thanks, so if i was doing a chain gang should i drop of half way?
