Turbo trainer help needed. Excessive vibration.

After some advice please folks as I've just borrowed a turbo trainer from a mate to see if I get on with it.
I've set it up and it seems really nice but when I try and use it the vibration is so severe it's doing my head in after 30seconds.
The trainer is a cycleops mag type and looks brand new! :?
Any suggestions?

Put it on something with a bit of give like carpet or rubber or a couple of towels or something, maybe that will help....0

Just removed the flywheel and it's really smooth without it.
Has anyone else had problems with Cycleops flywheels being out of balance?0 -
