Now then, seeing that I am a fully inducted, fully paid up card carrying member of The Carbon Superpowers, I thought it was fitting we have a thread were we post are uber awesome Carbon fibre bikes and oogle at the sheer 'awesomeosity' of them all!

Feel free to post a picture. Must be fully carbon, must be a bike you own and are currently in possession of it!

I'll begin:

The bike looks fantastic, but I don't think naming them is allowed (unless its something poncy in Italian  ) Especially when said bike could then be mistaken for someone who works in the typing pool.

I really thought 'Gareth' was the nadir... :)

I am still an alloy monkey, living in the dark ages with some daft aircraft material that has no feel or give in it whatsoever......

I will not violate this thread with either of my steeds - lowly 531 or 7005 Alloy.....I will simply embarrass myself,

I am gonna have to buy a Look 555 now to make up for this lack of carbon....!

The seller lived 10 mins walk from my house and we had a 90 min chat about bikes when I picked it up. He had 2 top-end Ridleys knocking about hence no need for the Look. Best ebay deal EVER!!

Apart from the position of the valves, nothing at all. In fact, it's lovely. But I guess this is a thread about carbon bikes. :)

There was a good article in this month's Cycling Plus comparing an old and new Pearson road bike btw.

Ooh, cheers Tardie - it's not white and pink (sadface) but I'll watch it on ebay just in case people suddenly forget it exists and I can get it for a knockdown price...

    Just so I understand correctly

You guys posts pictures of your hideously expensive carbon uber bikes on the internet.

Then you arrange a rendevous at a bar in London where all these bikes will be congregated, time & place posted on the forum.

Invariably at least one of your number will post a thread entitled "I forgot my lock"

Have you ever seen 'Gone in 60 seconds'?

PS I still think the best looking bike on Bike Radar is ITB's Dolan, I know there are many reasons why I am wrong, but there you go.

If I had a picture of my Mortirolo I'd post it, but I don't, and I've let someone borrow my memory card, and anyway it's not daylight and I'm not around this weekend.
Why does that just sound like a list of excuses? It's not meant to.
