Oh and Lambo's are flaming horrible cars. Ugly in every respect. The old Ferrari Tessarossa (the "Magnum" one), my god I hate that car too. The F430 and Enzo are sweeeeet though, even the Ariel Atom come to think of it.

Magnum drove a 308 not a TESTAROSSA. SchoolGIRL errors DF. Im shocked mate  see how shocked I am?

 Matchbox Toys lied to me! I have one in the loft I think from when I was a kid...and it was a year after Magnum finished that the testa came out.

I have just realised how much my anorak suits me

My late brother-in-law had a Morris Marina, it had the heaviest clutch I have ever tried. I reckon that regular driving of that monster hastened his end.

I was thinking that the MG is Chinese now, like a lot of our bikes. :?

Bike frames are mostly made inTaiwan arent they? I thought, although it was ruled by China that it was still classed as a different country as with Tibet..?

I always used to claim that Rolls-Royce was the Jack Taylor tandem of the motor car world.

Mind you, that was when we had a Jack Taylor and I worked for Rolls-Royce (though not the car company :) )

Bianchi = Alfa - you can use it as every day transport, quite fast but not a real sports car, over priced a little maybe, but what the hell, it looks pretty, I'd rather have one than a Ford.

Nah - in Italy Bianchi are like Raleigh. So I would say Bianchi = Fiat. I posted before that I think De Rosa = Alfa Romeo

  • You're going to think wtf at first but i'd compare trek to ford, simply because they are a big industrial american company and they cater all the way from low end (ford fiesta) to high end (Mustang, GT).
    Ribble Gran Fondo
    Focus Black Hills
    Raleigh Chopper

Agree and that should make Specialized the GM, Cannondale Chrysler and GT Jeep
  • I'd say dorel is the Gm, owning some really big brands (cannondale, mongoose GT Schwinn)
    Ribble Gran Fondo
    Focus Black Hills
    Raleigh Chopper

What kind of car would a Condor be? They are made in Italy but are very much a British brand. Perhaps a Zagato styled Aston Martin.

    Passoni=Pagani Zonda

De Rosa=Alfa Romeo, Not the most technically advanced but you just can't help but love them.

Get your meaning but wouldn't that make Bianchi = Lancia - once proud badge etc, etc

love alfa's (drove one for years) , now drive VW, & ride a Spec - the VW is without doubt a better car than my Alfa (faster, handles better, more reliable, more comfortable, safer, etc etc) but still yearn for an Alfa

Trek and Ford is a very valid analogy, big company at all price points and good (IMO) product...
