Not an easy question.
I guess i think my 08 enduro sl comp is pretty nice, otherwise why would I buy it?!!
That said, I reckon Gee Athertons Commencal Supreme DH is pretty bloody stonking, although its purpose is far beyond what I would ever need considering my ability0 -
Well,as you can see my Orca came with a free day-time bike rack:-
Night-time outfit was extra:-

Yeah, the wheels kind of give the game away! Not too familiar with Baum, but a rare example of a nice paintjob on a titanium frame.0
-
That particular baum frameset (the Corretto Road) is 5 quid short of 4 grand...0
-
Those aren't spokes it is a disc wheel with a paintjob...

What is going on with the spokes on the rear wheel!?
Unreal
I seem to remember reading somewhere that it's actually a foam core (i.e. solid) with the 'spokes' (actually CF thread) laced over/outside the core.

^^^ You're right - this is an extract from an article on Lightweight...
Stefan showed me their
new disc wheel, which looks like it has complex artwork
- but in fact the lines are not cosmetic at all. They are
carbon reinforcement strips giving the wheel stiffness.
These wheels are finding increased use in Ironman
Triathalons as well as in time trials and on the track.0 -
Very classy...0 -
