I think my alltime fave though is the classic Colnago master x-lite in orange. I saw one at the cycle show last year which was absolutely stunning

Pinarello Prince or the Orbea Orca. A pox on anyone who owns either of these beautiful bikes.

Saw a rather pretty white Colnago (CLX?) at the HHH

Would go rather well with my motor. That is to say it is visually thematically similar to my motor car.

Blimey!! I am colour blind - but that offended my eyes

Just too many different colours in a patch-work quilt effect :? :?

Each to their own though - you'd probably dislike my bike :wink:

    Gary.
Oh and I feel like I've been raped by an Orangutan  And I've got legs like Girders

face it, road bikes just dont look as good as mtb's, theres just not enough tubing to put anything good on.

    Wrong sub-forum

No need to dispute this one as at least road bikes don't get caked in mud and other unpleasantness which is not exactly easy on the eyes...

    Gary.

It is based on the famous artist, Piet Mondrian's work:

I see where you are coming from as most people like the all black, all silver or typical red/white colour combinations and tend to be afraid of a bit of colour, just like with cars...

Gary, that Look is a homage to the La Vie Claire team of the 80s...

It's not the best looking Look though I agree...

    This looks pretty smart -

    pre saddle mast cut though.

No constraints on money and we are talking about a Cyfac frame. Pure handmade class and beauty:

I've never even heard of Crumpton. The carbon one looks awesome - like some kind of polished stone finish to it.

Crumptons are all carbon - that cross bike is still bare carbon but with a finish to it...

I remember a friend of mine having a "C Record" equipped(like the CIOCC) Colnago
some years ago. He bitched about that group set on a daily basis. For whatever reason
we would always have to stop a couple of times on each ride so he could tighten his
crank set. Maybe it was just him and he didn't have a clue but we gave him hell daily
about "why didn't he buy some good Japanese components?". People can be so cruel.:wink:
