Oh well - CCC next weekend
And for anyone else still watching, keep an eye out for the "who wants RPCC kit" thread - we've been working on a kit design for a while and are very nearly there so we plan to place an order very soon! 8)0 -
What about CCC tomorrow? Who cares if it's a little damp, gotta train in the rain too.
I've just replaced that aging 8sp drivechain to 10sp so everything is new clean and shiney. I was still going to go out and get it all dirty..It's the vibe of the thing.0 -

Yes, deffo CCC next weekend - I'm going to look into a Brighton route to take in some bigger hills on the way south, then we can head north from Worthing and take in everything we want in the Surrey Hills 8)0 -

Does this mean you're going to go a lot faster now Mike?
The Cheek!!! Certainly feels faster, but that could be pseudo-new bike energy. Really notice the reduction in weight
Did a few laps of RP to make sure everything is bedded in. sram is nice despite to odd mis-shift early on. As as luck would have it as soon as i entered the park gates the heavens opened up. grrr... oh well, it was bound to get dirty in any case.
So what are people's riding plans tomorrow?
CCC by myself is a tough ride, although still considering it.[/quote]It's the vibe of the thing.0 -
G'day chaps. I am back in the country as of this morning. Potentially could be up for a ride but I have no idea how the body clock will be behaving tomorrow but it seems just about okay for now, but . I don't think c-c-c is on the cards as I cant spare that much time, but if there is anyhting short sharp planned, I would be interested in that. Alternatively I will just nip out on my own.0

Strewth, that was a short trip.
Felgen - if we straighten out a few of the kinks in the CCC and dont have any cake in worthing i reckon we could do the whole thing in 7hrs... :twisted:It's the vibe of the thing.0 -
What days are we planning on CC next weekend? My parents are back in London from Sunday, so probably that rules Sunday out for me.0

Ok folks, new thread is live and includes a link to the CCC thread which I've set up so that we can keep it separate from the 'normal' ride thread, just for those who don't want to get 200k in the legs in one hit!0
