You know you don't have to do dumb assed stunts like that to impress the Crudcatchers. There is thing called "Photoshop" which can achieve the same effect without the "Homer Simpson" element

Oh come on, dumb stunts are always fun!

Talking of dumb stunts, what happened to the guy (Josh?) who was going to ride off an enormous ramp into the channel?

Eh? i missed something here. How was (supposedly) Gee Atherton involved? I thought he was going to do the jump himself?

he was going to do this stunt (which was never going to happen) and he emailed the athertons then posted a reply from their manager.

the screen shot he posted included his own email adress so i invented a geeatherton hotmail adress and emailed him to say i had been told about the stunt by my manager and was interested.

he figured out there was something fishy but not before replying as if he thought it was serious.

might be an optical illusion, but the seat stays look bent on that Orange.

no ilusion - they are like that - took a bit of geting used to when i first got it

    - Orange blurb 'On long haul rides, high frequency trail buzz can be physicaly wearing on a rider, and that’s where the EV08’s radially curved seat-stays come into play. Their subtle shape soaks up trail vibrations, before they reach the rider, meaning that, more than ever, you’ll be hitting the hills on all-day epics with a renewed passion for putting the miles under your belt.'

cant say it's made any difference - apart from people stopping me and saying 'your seat stays are bent'

i hate riding in conditions like that but you look like you had a blast!
  • Conditions like that are the ones I properly love, as long as I have the right gear to get me through. Waterproofs with good goggles/glasses and i'm out for the blast of my life!

I find the same thing - you just have to be ready to accept the mud. Be one with the mud!

Yes, put some pics up so we don't have to stalk you on Facebook... much easier.
TBH I hate photos of myself, so I'm quite selective about what photos I'm tagged in on FB.

My son got uber annoyed with me for posting photos of him in FB, I created an album titled "Offspring" and posted photos of him at the paintball championships, racing radio controlled cars, wakeboarding and riding his quadbike.
I then promised not to post any more photos of him, but he's forever being tagged in his friends' photos which are usually taken at clubs and parties when he's well pi$$ed and often wearing some distasteful hat while out partying.
IMO my photos portray a much better image of him... kids...
