The OP was probably referring to this. He obviously didn't click on pic 2 in the article. Was she 'Kevin's' friend in Harry Enfield!?

Do you want to revise your answer!?

If you dig out older photos, yes, she probably will be 12 (older photo = younger age...)

The current ones, she isn't 12, and yes. She IS hot.

    End.

I think some of you need to spend more time in a City. On a Friday night out she wouldnt get a second glance.

Live in a city? No thanks ... I'll just have to put up with living in a peaceful, clean and rural environment surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty. It's hard but I'll tough it out.

And on a Friday night out, with beer goggles, she'd be gorgeous! Although if you have to get by on that over-priced, watered down London tap water that passes for ale I can understand the beer goggles would not work as well as they should. Chuckle.

Seriously, IMO she's not bad looking ... equally not stunningly beautiful either. Just ok. You can dig out photos for almost anyone that make them look either great or minging ... give the lass a break.

    Thats a very good point :) .

Perhaps in the area in which I work (not that many lovely burds) she might get a second glance, but, Friday night in Covent Garden and I wouldnt ask her for directions.

I certainly wouldn't accept a lift from her ... unless I'd brought my crash helmet!! :D

She looked a right mess after that crash but my heart nearly broke when I saw what she'd done to that beautiful Cervelo ... sniff, it's such a waste.

I can`t argue with that but I bet they don`t dance on the tables and get their "tits out for the lads".

Nope, she's not sexy in any way. And as soon as she opened her mouth to talk I'd have to leave the room..... the fake surfer attitude and the wannabe hard man in a woman's body just doesn't do it for me.

Jeez, who'd be a woman eh? I do feel slightly responsible (on account of saying she looked like a 12-yr old) for some of the negativity here, but I also acknowledge it's not actually very reasonable to judge someone for doing so.

So, let's weigh up the evidence on an utterly non-bike related basis:

What does this picture say to you?

    rachel_atherton.jpg

I know for a fact that if I try talking to anyone wearing a hat like that, I'll run out of things to say in 2 mins flat.

But suddenly, things start to change...

Black strappy dress and a gong* in her hand. Things are looking up!

Making a cup of coffee is like making love to a beautiful woman. It's got to be hot. You've got to take your time. You've got to stir... gently and firmly. You've got to grind your beans until they squeak.
And then you put in the milk.

    Shropshire is down south.

Rubbish. We have baths instead of barths and are as poor as anyone in the North. Just cos we don't wear flat caps and race whippets dunna mean we're Southern.

    Chuckle.

    Ps
I follow AFC Telford Utd, a footie club from Shropshire, and we play in the Conference North. There you go, living proof we're Northern.

Yes but then Worcester City play in the Confrence North and they are not in the North. anything above Derby is the north.

Mind you anything above Taunton to me is the North :lol:

There are plenty of women into mountain biking, there's just very little guidance for them.

Women have these exact same conversations about men too..... just based on film stars/pop stars/TV personalities/general celebrities

Errr, nope! I can't remember the last time I based my man conversations on any of those types you refer to!

Mind you..... most of the women I know would be asking "Rachel who?" or "Alberto who?" and asking what films they were in

As for all the arguments about what constitutes north - they look a bit silly from up here in Scotland, where Yorkshire is 4 hours drive south.

Here in the North Pole the arguments look even sillier.

Why would anyone want to cycle at the North Pole though? I mean, there are no decent hills... mind you, the weather's better than Scotland
