    So I googled 'Rachel Atherton'...and I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

    Until the season just finished WORCESTER played in conference north, and when I went there you couldn't move for pigeon lofts, ferret runs, whippets and blokes in flat caps. A real bastion of the north. :lol:

    I think what passes for good looking up north would be below average down here in the sunny, affluent and generally fabulous south.

    Worcester? So far North they're practically Geordies!!

    Back on topic (just for a min) ... Rachel is ok ... nothing more than that though. Can't be doing with the fake Californian surfer scene dialect though. Or maybe I'm wrong and everyone in Salisbury speaks like that?

    Other than the repeated use of words like 'stoked' and 'gnarly', my opinion of her has changed. Forget '12 yr old' - with those shoulders she could happily flatten me with a lazy haymaker!

    Not a Californian accent as such, it's just regular use of words such as:

    radical
    like
    so
    dude

    eg "Dude, it was like, so radical ... that truck like nearly wiped me out ... awesome"

    Don't get me wrong, she's an absolutely fantastic rider and I've got total respect for her. I'd never try and take anything away from what she's achieved at such a young age. Very talented and got balls of steel too ... just seems to be trying to do the California thing. I mean, what's wrong with Salisbury? :shock:
