I bought a pair of shorts and the leg bottoms were loose so I changed them for the next size. They were just as baggy, but the rest of the shorts were too tight, so I changed them back again the next day. :P
Ah cool, was right not to return them, then. Will see what I can do on my machine, could just pull em in a little down the outside edge (but I'd have to have the seam on the outside I imagine, don't fancy the rub otherwise!).0 -

Just use harder gears, you'll fill them in no time :shock:Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame
Voodoo Bizango - 2014 - Dead - Hit by a car
Vitus Sentier VRS - 20170 -
Picked up a jersey, saddlebag, computer & shades. The way I see it, I can just replace them when and if I need to. Since, I'm new to all this manual commuting, it's helping me from not bankrupting myself with the ever increasing list of things I need. :oops:0

4 Pairs of mens underwear pour moi. Without wanting to sound too pervy, they feel great against my silky smooth skin on my perfectly taught bum muscles (oops, gone waaaay too pervy!!). You get what I mean anyway!!
They'll be great when the weather warms up so I can just wear normal shorts instead of longer cycling shorts.0 -

I'm already quite curvy enough, ta :P Though hoping eventually my already bodacious thighs will turn from fat to muscle...0 -
I went to Lidl last night for the second time ever, this time for food, and came away with a bike tool kit full of unidentifiable tools. Not bad for £20 though! The Lidl in Ealing has all sorts of bike shoes left - if anyone's interested!0

If they are the boxer shaped ones, they are appalling - I bought two pairs unfortunately, first ride in them yesterday and they'll both be going in the bin. Pants.0 -

Yes, they're the boxer ones. I think they're pretty good actually. What problems did you have with them?0 -
Have you ridden in them yet? Found them too thin / short, the lycra rode up on the inside and then attempted to sever my legs with every pedal stroke. I was impressed when I tried them on and therefore chucked the boxes, which means I can't even return the unworn pair. Oh well, for £3 you can put it down to experience. You may get on better with yours, my thunder thighs may have put them under undue strain.0

+1 , yep, I bought 4pair, they are very good , minimal padding but if you usually wear normal (non cycling) shorts/pants then these are great.

I'm rebuilding my old commuter with one of those toolsets. +1 so far, but most bits are better aimed at last generation's groupsets (headset spanner for example). The bottom bracket thingy has taken a proper beating and survived when I tried (failed) to rescue my old one.
not sure what the tool with the floppy arm and two studs on is yet? anybody?0
