    damn, damn, damn
  • That's like saying only have one milky way and leave the other in the packet - it's impossible! (and for environmental reasons I don't want all that heat escaping into the atmosphere.

Besides a 3 slice toaster would open up a whole new design, the triangular toaster!
  • Once again I am forced to apologise - I just don't ever see the bigger picture :D

My defining moment of genius came on a Friday night when I stumbled out of the tube in the rain after more than a few beers, in need of sustinance and a taxi home. Unfortunately I only had enough money for one of the two. It was at this moment that the light bulb momentarily flicked on.
I went to the curry house and asked if I could order a delivery. There was a moment of hesitation before the waiter thought why not and took my order and money. Knowing that this curry house delivered using a car not a moped I then asked if I could get a lift with it and was driven home for free with my curry. Problem solved.

I once did a similar thing when I was stuck on the wrong side of Bora Bora island fairly late one night... knowing that the famous Bloody Mary restaurant was half way between me and my accommodation, I saw a flyer on a wall that said they picked up people from their hotels. So I rang them up, they picked me up from the port, I had a wonderfully expensive but delicious dinner, and then they dropped me in the complete other direction over at Matira point. Probably cheaper than a taxi...
But alas I was not clever enough to afford to stay in any 5 star resorts... *sigh*
  • Replace your drops with sausages (uncooked).
Tippex, what an erection, go and close the window.

    If only.

How about starting your own thread next time if you go so off topic.
