I'm looking for a recommendation for a physio in the Glasgow area who would possibly have some cycling specific injury experience.

I'm experiencing some pretty siginifacnt knee pain and think I need to get it checked out.

Any recommendations much appreciated

First posting, so here goes. I've been to both of these places and would highly recommend both. The first is in Glasgow on Great Western Road. You'll have a consultation first and decide which type of treatment suits best. In my case it was accupuncture for a lower back injury.

The second place is a bit further away. It's in the main terminal building in Prestwick Airport. It's called the Health, Stress and Injuries Clinic and again I would highly recommend it. It's run by Kenneth Kilmurry and he uses a thing called the Bowen tecnique which is a bit like accupuncture without the needles. Again it was for a lower back injury and I was totally amazed at the difference he made. He doesn't have a website but can be contacted by telephone or by e-mail.

    Hope this helps.
