Making the best use of a week off....

Didn't have a very productive winter but started to get back into it in Feb, have done a few 50+ milers, some shorter faster stuff and turbo sessions. Question I have is how to make the best use of this week? I'm off work and can do something every day. Is it over optimistic to try doing a lot of hard sessions (2x20s, hills) to try to bump up FTP quickly; to kick start my season if you like? Or am I just asking for trouble?
If you haven't got a headwind you're not trying hard enough

    Mon - Hard ride
    Tues - Recovery ride
Wed - rest, take bike apart
Thurs - bike still in bits - go shopping locally for parts
Fri - bike still in bits - order online as LBS is rubbish
Sat - some stuff arrives but not all - go for walk
Sun - no post. Watch F1

at the moment I'm doing one big, hard ride a week, and two separate shorter sessions with some intervals and hill repeats, plus maybe one very easy commute.

That's enough I think. Better to do fewer harder rides than something every day. No time for the body to recover (important).
