RPCC Rides - Easter Weekend

Good lord, Easter already!
Afraid it's all down to you this weekend folks, and with Easter on the cards that gives you 4 whole days to play with! I'll be suffering my guts out in the Lake District for the weekend, including having a crack at Hardknott Pass on the Lakeland Loop on Sunday... bugger
So, usual meet & ride plan:
 Boxhill is almost definite (as is a short tea / cake / toilet / bottle refill stop at the top - usually around 15-20mins)
Once again I'd like to emphasise that new faces are more than welcome and actively encouraged, and that applies to lurkers / long-time 'thread watchers' / any who haven't been able to make it along previously / those who don't want to commit on here but might feel like turning up on the day - please do join us if you want to! And ladies don't forget you're more than welcome too! A few newbies have been along in recent weeks and had a great time!
A 'collection point' is usually arranged at Hampton Court as that tends to be our route out and one of our regulars lives in Esher so it makes sense to collect him there. All I would ask is that you're there by 9:30am (or any other agreed time) as there won't normally be any hanging around - it's literally just a fly-by quick hello and on the move again. That said there can sometimes be delays getting moving at Richmond Park so there is the potential for folk to be running a little late coming through (and apologies in advance if that turns out to be the case)!
So, who is about and when? 8)

So, usual meet & ride plan:

 9am is most likely on whichever day is favoured (or all 4 days, if you're feeling up to it!), although watch the thread for this weekend as with 4 days to play with there might be some later starts
 Richmond Gate in Richmond Park, south side (on the left as you come up Sawyer's Hill / on the right if you come through Richmond Gate), by the little white building
 80-120k @ 24-28kph / 50-75 miles @ 15-18mph
 Boxhill is almost definite (as is a short tea / cake / toilet / bottle refill stop at the top - usually around 15-20mins)

I can - got snowed on doing my first triathlon.
And the boiler at my place (of all moments) packed it in and had to make do with a p*ssy small fan heater.
I will be most likely out of London. If I stay I am keen for a ride out to Surrey with RPCC otherwise will do the Dynamo rides Saturday and Sunday.0 -

was at the top of Shere Hill completely stung in the face by the Horizontal Snow/sleet and finding evrey Teas shop closed !!! had to make do with a corner shop in Newdigate ,a lucozade & mars bar it was soo cold and the snow relentless that we didnt bother with Box hill, instead cycled through leatherhead & Oxshott just to get back
Oh how we laugh in the the face of adversity and the Etape last year !!!!!!!!
