    Get a FS and use the lockout on the rear. Then when you think you have learned to use your skills to the max, turn your lever to pro pedal or full on bouncy and off you go again. :D

  • I only have a limited experience of cycling off road and over obstacles ( not been off road till about a few months ago with my new fury) but i consider my HT to be relativly long travel - 130mm - I still jump big obstacles but my rigid back wheel makes sure i can really 'feel' the trail - much more fun going up and down and all around then just smooth isnt it? but tbh if i had £1000 I would buy a specialized fsr ... only about 900-1000 pounds .... Why didnt you!!!!
