    Not if you unclip with the pedal in the up position you won't. I was chatting with someone at the track recently who does the same thing, seems there is no right or wrong way, just the way that works for the individual.

    All true. Just making the comment that maybe it would be a good idea to get into the habit of unclipping by moving the ankle away from the bike. If you haven't gotten your heel and or shoe caught in the spokes yet I can assure you that it is NOT a good thing to have happen. Clipping out by twisting the heel outward avoids just about any possibility of this.
