Sorry to 'hijack' thread but you've got me thinking now lol
I have 2007 marin Quake 7.3 - with 135mm rear end spacing. Standard QR
Hope Pro II hub
If I wanted to convert, apart from the kit, what would I need to do with my rear hub (conversion wise)? Or would I need a new hub?
Cheers - looks good buy the way!0 -

You`ll need one of these:
http://www.kustombikes.co.uk/wheels_and ... ersion_kit
Your also supposed to have the hub servicing tools but you can do it without if your careful.
You`re then just basically rebuilding the hub as in the Hope service video but with the new axle and spacers:

I believe its as easy as just buying the adaptor cups, much the same as converting the fronts from QR to 20mm. Try the Hope website."Didn't hurt"0
-
You need the Hope pro2 rear maxle axle(12mm) and the 2 end caps to go with it- to run the
Maxle axle. £21.50 for the kit.0 -
wat he said lmfaothey did mine for me at GA's. and yer steve they are brill mate. you out 2mro chap0

Sounds like it was a fun day though0 -
mate it was. it got to the point it was that muddy ya just become a passanger on ya bike. lost control so many times it was unreal.
that maxle is fooking brill mate. and have now made my mind up on brakes after seeing a set of M4s today n the flesh. gonna go with mats idea of V2's. dont like how smal the M4's look0 -

Chris king head set in red
Easton Mokey bars and seat post.
sorry about the pics there from a cam phone0 -
Good stuff.
Is the bike alright with full travel, or have you had to wind the fork in a bit?Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10 -
its seems fine with full travel mate. but then i tried it with it winded down wow its fast thro turns and every thing now mate. I think i wllwind it out fully when on slopy sections tho and keep it 120 ish on normal runs.0

Nice additions... i generally keep mine at 130 and lock out is a godsend0
