Sorry to 'hijack' thread but you've got me thinking now lol

I have 2007 marin Quake 7.3 - with 135mm rear end spacing. Standard QR

    Hope Pro II hub

If I wanted to convert, apart from the kit, what would I need to do with my rear hub (conversion wise)? Or would I need a new hub?

Cheers - looks good buy the way!

    You`ll need one of these:

Your also supposed to have the hub servicing tools but you can do it without if your careful.

You`re then just basically rebuilding the hub as in the Hope service video but with the new axle and spacers:

I believe its as easy as just buying the adaptor cups, much the same as converting the fronts from QR to 20mm. Try the Hope website.
    "Didn't hurt"
  • You need the Hope pro2 rear maxle axle(12mm) and the 2 end caps to go with it- to run the
Maxle axle. £21.50 for the kit.

    Good stuff.

Is the bike alright with full travel, or have you had to wind the fork in a bit?

its seems fine with full travel mate. but then i tried it with it winded down wow its fast thro turns and every thing now mate. I think i wllwind it out fully when on slopy sections tho and keep it 120 ish on normal runs.
