Typically, brightly coloured Racing jerseys, plain Arm warmers or base layer, and black longs. (As long as I'm moving ok, I don't mind wearing racing jerseys).

Motorists give you no room whatever you wear. If you're in hi-viz the paramedics can find you in the hedge bottom more easily.

lol that's funny.............but actually a bit depressing as it rings true as well!

With my motoring hat on, I have to say that during daylight hours I find that cyclists dressed all in black are just as visible as those who dress like a Christmas tree.

    Too right.
How many car drivers have crashed into black cars parked at the side of the road and have then said that they didn,t see them?

Not black as such but not really fluro either. Road riding or MTBing I'm relatively bright but if I'm just riding about/commuting in winter I tend to wear stuff that I'd be happy to wear when I get to where I'm going so that rules out the bright yellow stuff (for me anyway!) Also the last time I looked not much of the higher-end kit came in bright colors anyway.

I have a black bike, so it would be rude to wear anything else for fear of clashing in the colour co-ordination stakes and black is soooooooo slimming for us girlies..

Well, maybe i'm fibbing, i do wear a bright blue buff, blue smelly helly (oh my god, it smells like a sheep has been wearing it for the entire winter and loaned it to the herd of rampant bullocks in the field behind my house) and whatever shorts etc are clean at the time...usually my camouflaged ones, so not quite ninja tactics...

Oh aye, and my Trek usually has a few lights showing too and if i'm rucksacked up, that'll be wearing a hi-vis vest..boing-boing! x
    i like bike
