Joplin seat post for me, special offer from Wiggle, 20% off (so back to 2008 prices :? )

It's fitted but not ridden yet.

Oh and been looking at new cars (gonna have a towbar on from day one for a bike rack). Got to have a big boot for bike stuff so it's sort of bike related.

    What credit crunch?
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

Not a thing as such, but I think my Endruo will be going off to Argos for some lovely new paint in a couple of months (going to have it done whilst I'm in Morzine on my Cove, can't be Endruo-less for 3 weeks whilst I'm home).

At the moment I'm thinking Jade green frame with a pearl white sub frame, complemented by some new green spank rims.

I'm still contributing to the economic meltdown by buying absolutely FA. Do I want it - yes; do I need it - no. My bank balance has never looked so good.

It only came yesterday so ive not had chance to try it out yet, im working nights this week so friday will be my first chance to use it. Ive had it out the box tho and been having a play, looks nicely made and its really easy to use. Ive transfered a few gpx files over to it using the satSYNC software, was easy to do and took seconds. Im gonna create my own route on fri round my local town and then follow it to see how it works, then weather permitting sun im off up the peaks to try following some routes ive downloaded off the net.

My only gripe so far would be that is a little heavier than i was expecting, the bike mounts not the lightest bit of kit either, but its very secure and no chance of the thing coming off, so i guess you cant have everything.

I'll report back at the weekend and let you know how i get on :)

Just bought some 2.5 60a dual ply DH high rollers and some 430g DH tubes.

I was riding the local DH over the weekend (making a fool of my self and having fun at the same time) and after 4 pinch flats with my xc tyres and tubes, i had to do something about it...

goodbye pinch flats, hallo ..err.. no pinch flats!
