Road Cycling Hol in Spain (April/May)

Hi guys,
I'm researching a week's training hol to get some warm, hilly miles in before the Sportives start. It will be my first full year of cycling, so don't want anything too hardcore, but I have been doing up to 80milers in Jan/Feb, with 500miles/month @ say 16mph average, so want to try to build on that.

I have looked into Road Ride Spain (an off-shoot of FreeRide Spain, but no roadie booking on dates I want), Toro Loco (don't do single bookings) and Joy Riders (who have only MTBers on the dates I am looking at).

Can anyone recommend any other companies for southern Spain?
How easy is it to book a B&B and navigate the area on your own?

Any help much appreciated!
Ben

Cheap flight to malaga, train to Alora, or taxi anywre in land, find a Hostal/B&B & a map. Cycle eat sleep cycle.
You'll bump into other cyclists. Me husband & brother did this 2006. Unseasonably cold but still better than 0,5 metre of snow at home (southern Sweden). Greta week depsite everything - but weäre used to DIY hols.

Seriously consider port of pollenca in north mallorca. I was there last week. No need for a company.

I hired a bike from these guys
    http://www.procyclehire.com/pch/index.html

and i just did some of the routes i found on this ladies website/blog using a map i bought at the airport. Within 2 or 3 days i was making up my own routes.
    http://www.globalspokes.com/Mallorca/ma ... routes.htm ( thank you Ms Cooney).

I hired a car from the airport to get to pollenca, but you might be able to arrange airport pick-up via procyclehire.

I just booked a flat I found on the web. Cheaper options will be in Alcudia a mile down the road from pollenca.

Awesome place. As hardcore / easy as you like. About a million other cyclists there.
    I will be back.

I'm just back from a week with Vamos mentioned above and could not recommend them enough. Great hosts, great food and great cycling. Very low cost too, flights with Ryanair were next to nothing and the £285 for the week covered basically everything except evening meals. Breakfast, coffee stops, lunch, snacks, beer, wine, all covered. If you went out a beer cost €1.20 and came with substantial tapas, it was very difficult to spend! Posted details of our trip with photos here. You could just wade through to look at the photos :) They cater for cyclists of all levels of ability, we were preparing for the Marmotte but they have had people both faster and slower and all do fine.
