Not a bad week on all accounts to be honest. First full week at the gym after rejoining, so the stats are:

    Start weight here 214lbs
    Last week 199lbs
    This week 197lbs

So thats another 2 pounds, giving me 17lbs since I started on here, and a total of 23lbs overal since my birthday in January.

    This week:

Monday Morning 30mins high intensity cardio before work (in the gym at 7am)
Monday luchtime 45 mins resistance training
Tuesday evaluation session with personal trainer
    Wednesday Morning Spinning class
    Wednesday lunchtime resistance weight training
Thursday 40 mins high intensity cardio
Friday 40 mins high intensity cardio

And the scores on the doors from my evaluation are better than I thought:
Body fat 18.6% (Just goes to show my scales are pants, they had me at 30% body fat)
blood pressure 121/70 (very happy) with a resting heart rate of 62 (better than expected)
and a lean body mass of 73kg (out of 90kg), so again, happy with that.

Another wasted week for me with progress at the end of the week exactly cancelling out indulgence at the start!

This week probably isn't going to be much better because I'm travelling and have a big birthday do to attend on Saturday. I'll do my best to limit the damage until I get back to Yorkshire and then try to get stuck in and start making progress again.

Well done to those of you who are consistently achieving significant losses!

Good week (last week) training wise but bad on food discpline.

93km cycle during the week with a pacy track session thrown in. Threw my toys out of the window and called it quits after 45min on the track. Downloading the Garmin explained it nicely with the speed on the track looking like a set of shark teeth. 23 times the speed went over 50kph in 45min with a top speed of 55kph. Maybe in a race with E12 but not as a training session.

Did a 207km Audax on Sunday - averaged 29.3kph. Legs felt good so looking forward to Flanders. (Who said Audax riders are slow  )

    Weight currently 15st 12lb.

Great week last week as I finally broke the stone barrier!
    start 93
    last week 85.7kg
16lb lost since new year. People are starting to notice and comment now and that really spurs me on to keep things going.

I managed 9 hours cycling, including a 63 hilly route into the peaks. The last hour of this was spent hurtling back at time trial pace to try to get to school in time to pick up the kids. No cycling at the weekend due to a trip away for a family christening during which time I refused two full english breakfasts and managed to stick to only one glass of wine a day!

This week is crap as I am now full of cold and not cycling :(
I'm just trying to rest while I still have this throat pain and then I'll start back easy with some rollers rides.

Well done everyone! TonyW43 - that is great weight loss. :)

Weighed in at 16st5. A loss of 3lbs from the previous week but I've been basically bouncing along a plateau for the last month. I think, though, that we may be on the move again. I'm eating a bit more protein and a bit less carb and have cut down on the amount I've been eating and I feel like I'm starting to burn off fat again. Time will tell! I tend to go up and down in two week cycles, so if this coming week's "up" isn't as bad as the last one I will be well pleased.

As for exercise, have cut the weight work back to one day a week in readiness for the season (we are finally above freezing here). Spent 2 hours in the gym Tuesday, two hours on the turbo Wed., Thu. and Sun. and actually got in a real 67 mile ride on Saturday. It was -4C but there was no snow and no ice and I was just happy to be outside!
