Can one of you nice folks with a Garmin help me out please?
I'm riding La Pyreneenne in June and, despite normally not going in for such things, am looking to garner some sponsorship from my workmates and friends in aid of Cumbria Air Ambulance in memory of my friend Mark.
Now i've got the route interary from the website and plotted a google map of the route, but it doesn't look very impressive to the layman. I was hoping, with the map link attached, somebody would be able to whip up a profile for me?
Link!
Link edited on Colins helpful advice to a technical dunce! Thanks in advance.

"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

You can shorten the link like this:
short descriptive text goes here
The second 'url' needs a '/' before it. I left it out so that the forum software didn't turn that line of text into a proper link.0 -
Now why didn't that work?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
@gietvangent0 -
plan the route in bikeroutetoaster (for all the ups and downs) or mapmyride.com (for a colour coded gradient thing you have to pay to print, but with smaller lumps smoothed out.
(or many of the other similar sites, these are just my favourites)
no garmin needed.
if google maps will give you a gpx download, you can upload it to either site and it'l do it instantly.0 -
