Spot on.
Nice ride out, and up from the river valley below, over the top of the hill through the village - the photo was taken half way up - then back down the other side. Roads very quiet and motorists all very cyclist friendly. There's no such thing as too old.0 -

Here we go, ancient history!
A few from a TdF back in the mid-late 70s (Can't remeber which year now!)
Hinault centre, Sherwin far right.
Gerry Knetteman, can't remember who the miserable looking Wolber guy is, and is it Freddy Maertens on the right?
Kellogs' Crits. (Or Kellogs' ToB?)
Rob Millar on the front, Yates behind him.
Malc Elliot
Phil Anderson, Paul Sherwin & Keith Lambert.
Sid Barras, Jan Raas & Mick Bennett (?)
And just for amusement value, a very youthful OffTheBackAdam steering a Tandem during the Plymouth Cycling Week!

Unless I'm very much mistaken it's either Bristol High Street or St. Cirq Lapopie.

I got this one which looks like a Lord of the Rings scene but without the special effects!

Tourmalet in bad weather. A bit nippy to say the least...

This was taken just as a sleet storm was swirling up around me on the summit of the Cime de la Bonnette. It was a cold and sketchy descent off it.

Sorry I've no photos to post. I just wanted to say what a fantastic thread. I can't wait to get back out on the bike.
This year I'll be taking the camera with me.
