I nearly ran Norman Lamont over in Knaeresborough. The bloody fool just sauntered across the road in front of me. He looked like an ambling badger.

I saw a rock formation on the hillside last year that from one angle and one angle only (like the Channel 4 logo advert thingies) like the Honey Monster.

A few years ago I swear i saw Lance Armstrong!?

    No Joke.

There were two cyclists one of whom was Sean Yates. I often used to see him as I'm in the same area, this was on the Ashdown Forest. It was only later that I though the other guy looked like Lance and then thought it could very well have been.

It was while he was still racing previously around February.

Was just riding along the Wirral Way on my winter bike (wet here in the Wirral today) after a few miles in Wales. Just as I was nearing Heswall a jogger comes the other way, smiles and says 'hiya', only realised a few yards later that it was Chris Boardman. So that's 2 things I learned today, 1 is that Chris must have moved further South in Wirral and 2 is that Chris jogs :) Wished I'd had my wits about me as I would have given more of a cheery hello!

Chris is running London Marathon - so he mightnt have moved too far - I reckon WK to Willaston and back is only about 20 miles along the WW - so thats a good long run for the Marathon.
