  • Yeah, see I've lost a few toenails by impact, dropping things on my foot mostly. But they've always grown back...

Ok, now you've really piques my curiosity.

What were the other bits of you that you dropped things on that caused you to lose toenails?

At least he has toenails. I'm missing one of mine. For good.

    Oooh weird. Why?

    If I had to guess...

Persistently ingrowing and infected toenails, leading to removal and cauterization of the nail bed?

Excuse me. I have to go and do a sick now.

Got it in one you insufferable no it all!

Original cause of damage/infection = I dropped a beer barrel on it. A proper pub beer barrel. Now that chuffing hurt.

    Two things:
    1. It's "know".
    2. Learn to hold your drink (boom boom!):lol::lol:

I know that, it's late and I'm tired dammit!

Back to the future? Two can play at this game sonny jim.

Well, since you sort of asked... no, never dropped anything elsewhere on my anatomy and lost a toenail as a result, but I've lost 2 toenails by impact between the relevant toe and something that went between toenail and toe. That's also quite ouchy.

    See? I think that's 2 to me. :D

    Ok.

I'm going to plead typo immunity on that one. It should have ended with a "d". They're adjacent letters on the keyboard, FFS!

Nope, you don't receive typo immunity when actively engaging in pedantry. That's just not how it works around here.

You googled it, didn't you? Just to check, was it? Didn't have confidence enough in your command of the english language to be absolutely sure that 'ouchy' wasn't a real word?

    2-2...

Yeah, so anyway, bib shorts. They're great, far superior to normal shorts...

Oh I knew. I simply wanted to head off a "Yes, it's a word. It's a place, actually. 3-1"-type response.

Remember, I know I dealing with Miss "I disagree with Greg... *runs away giggling*"

<shakes head> Runs away giggling indeed...

Yeah. I love bib shorts. They're so cool. It's great how they're like shorts, but with a bib too. I think that's what really sets them apart from shorts, which are like shorts, but without a bib. If I want shorts with a bib, I'd always go for bib shorts. Every time. I even ask for them by name: "Bibshorts, please!". :D
