So, anyone here like the early Spice Girls stuff? What about early Take That? No?

The first three Spice Girls singles are brilliant - I own each of them! Early Take That's pretty terrible, though by "Babe" they'd go into their stride. Back for Good is straight up genius pop music. And gratifyingly, now they're back they seem to have continued in the same vain with a couple of cracking singles.

This is joke right? It's just you forgot to add any of these :D

No mention for public enemy?? An oversight surely.

I saw PE at Brixton Academy last year. They must be pushing 50 but that didn't stop Flavor Flav stage-diving on more than one occasion. Great gig.

I concluded that that song was sufficiently iconic for me to deny legitimately a Loaf affliction.

I can honestly say that of that song, I know those two lines, and that just before that (I think) there's another bit that sort of goes "ner ner ner, ner ner ner, ner ner ner, Just to say I love you, YEAH-AH!".

Not a resoundingly successful recital, I think most would agree.

I started reading this thread from the beginning (didn't realise it was a few months old) and was wondering why no one had mentioned the Lords. Awesome.

I don't know whats happening with hip hop now but there must be a decentish scene if you scratch the surface. I quite liked Akala when I saw him a year or two ago. Fairly commercial, but I don't claim for a minute to know anything about the scene nowadays.
