Just the one, though I did have another on top of the wardrobe when I had 2 bikes.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • mmm....garage. The house we're hoping to buy has a nice big one. That means I'll be able to get more bikes to fill it up.

    7 in total, 5 are mine - all in the shed! (12 x 10) :D

What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!
  • just the one, in the living room - but 2 sets of wheels as well. They all belong to himself

    mine lives in the hall.
  • when did this change to 'living room'?
change my answer to '1 but only if I'm doing a long turbo session' then..
  • None in the living room. Two in the shed inc one on the turbo, three in the garage one being Mrs Tanks and one in the loft.

The above post may contain traces of sarcasm or/and bullsh*t.
  • 10 :(

'lo to be fair, one is hanging on the wall as 'art' and the other 9 would be in the garage had its roof not falling in.

I suspect I won't get my life back to normal until the court case to force the freeholder to carry out repairs is sorted.

3 in the house...only 1 in the living room, folder with child seat attached, 2 in the Hall though.

My missus bike in the shed out back as well.
'Twas Mulga Bill, from Eaglehawk, that caught the cycling craze....
  • 3 in total. 1 mtb in conservatory. 1 brand new roadie in living room and the girlfriends mtb hanging up in the garage.

  • Depends on your definitions.

    I have a "bike room".

I have been accused of "living in there".

    Does that count?

    lol.
Must get me one of those. Trying to show prospective buyers round is quite comical at the moment. 'And through here we have the..erm...bike room. Try to imagine the potential if there weren't 9 bikes, several pairs of spare wheels, god knows how many tyres, a workbench, a workstand, the turbo and a couple of large fans with a huge stereo system around it, various boxes and shelves of components, tubes, energy drink and so on in the way.'
  • I had 4 bikes, 3 pairs of wheels, a turbo and a bike bag in my car yesterday...
  • My better bike got booted out so now is temporarily living at work 8)

Not long till the clocks change again now :D:D:D

I might explode by then though :x
  • my new scott cross bike is in the house due to the fact that there is no where else for it to go at the moment.
  • 7 complete bikes in the integral garage 5 of which are mine plus a CAAD5 frame c/w slice forks hanging on the wall

The Living Room????? I'd never keep a bike in there. My 3 babies live in the bedroom.
As the (bike) family grows, I'd rather get rid of the bed and the telly before banishing my kids, err, i mean bikes to the living room or hallway or anywhere like that.
I think that there is some bad bike parenting going on out there. Shame on anyone who makes their bikes sleep outside or in the garage.
  • One at the back of the lounge 2 in the spare bedroom + one stripped down and the mtb lives outside under a plastic sheet.

Just out of interest how many of you get grief off of your family and friends for doing this?

My sister and mum actually told me "Its not normal to keep so many bikes IN the house" I did try to explain the ' men have their bikes women have their bags' theory but it fell on deaf ears :o
  • I think i might be about to get some stick...

currently 3 bikes and a frameset in my bedroom, 4 bikes in the hall and another frameset in the utility cupboard.

I have had 6 bikes in my room, but they were then both sides of the bed.

And before you ask, I don't have a massive flat, in fact it is tiny, but we're prioritising...

1 in living room, 1 in hall, 1 upstairs landing, 1 folder in cupboard under stairs (+ a couple of not very often used ones that are relegated to the garden shed)
