What difference do tyres actually make?

I don't know if either suggestion is beneficial in Attack/Force's case (I also don't think Attack/Force is an upgrade that should be taken lightly).
The front tyre is thinner than the back tyre and they've been purposely designed that way. So if you have 2 Force tyres or 2 attack tyres on your bike - you're not really getting the benefits of Attack/Force (they are two different tyres one designed for the back wheel and the other designed for the front to maximise performance).
Actually they are my faves, although I've not really observed that they have the proposed equal lifetimes. Perhaps this suggests that I am a fat lump who corners gingerly.0 -

I've never had tyres that have worn out at the same time. Too many variables.Food Chain number = 4
A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game0 -
I was rather impressed at how worn my rear SM+ was in comparison to the front, especially given the fact that those tyres have a tread on them which made it even more visible!
Even on my new GS I still have the small line of rubber "legs" still sticking up on the central part of the front tyre that have already been worn off at the rear! I do realize however that it's a sign that I need to MTFU and ride further and harder to wear the front one's off now0
