So all the times you've complimented me for being swift along the Mall you were actually thinking "but he's been left for dead by that tattooed short fella"? I feel betrayed!!

(also, for the record, I never sprint hard on the Focus as I don't think the ease of unclipping with eggbeaters is designed for that kind of force and I'm nervous about accidentally slipping out of the pedals)

Isn't this a it wasn't me it's the bike's fault type post that I'm famed for.... Going Biondino reach into those deep pocket pull out your mighty disposable income and treat yourself to these:

In any case, you were swift, I couldn't catch you! But you gotta understand you had already gotten into your stride by the time Bass realised what was going on, then we set off, then he accelerated caught and pulled up alongside you to say hello. T'was a masterclass in spinning and acceleration (given the bike's in question). He was so humble about it afterwards...

But that's not to say you were slow.

When? Did you just recently buy another road bike for the hell of it?

A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game
