I have got myself a Garmin Edge 705 with Cadence and heart rate for training purposes, logging rides....watching performance changes over time etc.
I uploaded the data to WKO+ for the first time last night and the software somehow calculated from my ride that I had a FTP of around 260 watts.....how accurate is that figure??
The course that I did it on with 13 miles long with over 2000ft of climbing split between 2 hills

WKO+ doesn't calculate FTP.0

what I mean is, it is a user entered value.
probably when you set up yourself as an athlete in WKO+ it chose a default value, which you are meant to adjust accordingly.0 -
WKO definately had a wattage value even though I don't yet have a power meter. Maybe it wasn't FTP but it was definately there. will check it when I get home from work.17 Stone down to 12.5 now raring to get back on the bike!0

There were some values at setup but I thought that was just my Heart rate values for different zones of effort.17 Stone down to 12.5 now raring to get back on the bike!0 -
