Seriously, what you got planned - I'll sneak in a couple of hours tempo somewhere, probably when the offspring are watching the box in the early afternoon ....
How about you?
Oh and Happy Christmas to those of you that celebrate these things.

I'm doing uper body training - lifting fork/spoon to mouth repeatedly - followed by a recovery session.
Happy Christmas0 -
Easy tapering session - after all, I'm racing on Boxing Day
Have to treat it just like any other day - I don't know about others, but my family and friends know I am who I am because I run and I ride. It's my raison d'etre if you like. If I don't do one or the other at sometime during the day, I'm a grumpy bastard!! :evil:0 -
I have a plan to to ride over the Blwch, Rhigos and Cimla on a 60 miler before Christmas dinner arrives. I always like to go to the in-laws for Christmas day, I get a chance to earn my food excesses for the day.Complicating matters since 19650

next 3 days off for me, then stepping it up again from saturday.0

I'll just be out for a couple of easy hours. No point overdoing it I think.0

Snap to a couple of hours which I INTEND to be relatively easy. However, it's Christmas, and if the roads are relatively clear, and the weather plays fair, and I therefore go out on my best bike with my new shoes (like I did earlier today) then I may possibly get carried away. I've planned to do a couple of hours early on then come home get changed and swap to the winterised fixed in order to pootle between houses of friends and family that will be visited until the missus gets off work (YES, working a 7.45 - 5 shift on Christmas day!)'07 Langster (dropped one tooth from standard gearing)
'07 Tricross Sport with rack and guards
STUNNING custom 953 Bob Jackson *sigh*0 -
I'll be doing hill repeats on the Montgo in Denia (Costa Blanca) while the missus is at church - and then a walk on the beach followed by some good Spanish food and wine. Indulgence here happens more on Kings' Day on the 6th Jan - that's the traditional gift giving day but there is also a race so I'll have my blow out on Hogmany.
Saying that, 2-3 wee drams of a nice single malt might pass my lips tonight.0 -
I'll be putting my liver through it's paces and not much else!0

4 times each side? Nice hill for interval training especially when its traffic free :roll:0 -
I may do as i did last year and take the bike into Manchester city centre and back (about 2 hours). It will be completely deserted. I get to hop on and off pavements, rag around the middle of the road and generally do stuff i'm not allowed to do the other 364 days of the year.
Except ive got a bad chest today made worse by cycling to work, so may give it a miss, if not for a speedy overnight recovery...0 -
You are all VERY brave.
I would not dare ask my beloved!!chris0
